A new initiative to combat crime and one that improves police reaction time to a crime scene. Some Diepsloot homes will now have an alarm system connected to the police. The Memeza Community Safety home alarm was installed in one of the houses as a pilot project. 600 homes will have the unit installed by the end of March.
